I’m an Awards winning violinist, composer, arranger, orchestrator and educator. I graduated conservatory in 1987 following 11 years at a school for musically gifted children, which I attended from 7 years of age. My degree is in virtuoso violin and pedagogy. My 2nd instrument was piano and if venue has an instrument I’m happy to play both, but my experience and expertise is in solo virtuoso violin. Recently I self taught myself viola, as a student needed tangible compassion. Especially in the last year I have received several awards, some competitions were for professional from all over the globe, others more local. I’m proud to be a recipient of a bronze medal at global music awards two times over and clouzine music competition, amongst several others. I write my own arrangements if the customer requests a special song and have my own approach to other compositions. Most quotes include 2 to 3 arrangements as needed, if not yet in my repertoire. I play several genres, including classical and jazz, certain ethnic music and some popular too (rest I arrange as needed). If you don’t need arrangements, I am happy to include a composition as a personal touch:). I mostly compose in modern classical or modern jazz genres. I have an extensive resume and used to work with symphony orchestras and chamber orchestras on international stage. In the past, overseas, I had founded my own trio and quartet, which I lead from 2007-2019, when I moved back to United States. I’m 3rd generation musician in my family. My later Dad was a kemancha player, which is an ancient Armenian (middle eastern) instrument. I have over 3.5 decades of professional experience on and off stage at times sharing it with world renowned composers and musicians such as Vladimir Cosma and Late Dmitry Hvorostovsky. Music is my passion, it is my profession, it is a universal language. Music is how I earn a living, but it is also what helps me communicate, celebrate, commemorate, brighten days of others, at times to respect others and of course to feed, house and cloth my family. Others have described me as knowledgeable, responsible, reliable, detail oriented, diligent and professional. I also offer phone or virtual event services and repertoire consultations. Such services maybe a great way to celebrate those who are immunocompromised, far or home/nursing facility bound. My significant other helps me respond, I do the phone repertoire consultation, write arrangements and perform day of the day of the event.
