À propos de nous

Since 1967, the "Big Window" has been considered a "perennial insider tip," partly because the 58-square-meter restaurant can only accommodate a few guests each evening—without a reservation, a visit is a gamble. The other secret lies in the dishes, known far beyond Berlin's borders, such as lule with lavash or the legendary spare ribs, whose recipes are closely guarded. The spice blends, invented by Ivan Arzou himself, in which the meat is marinated before being grilled over charcoal, ensure an unparalleled taste experience. The limited space creates a cozy atmosphere, and so it's no wonder that the "Big Window" is the "dining room" of many artists and celebrities who can retreat here undisturbed, as peace and discretion are guaranteed. As a token of appreciation for the excellent food, you'll find many special tributes, such as the small artwork "For a rib from Ivan" by the American artist Ed Kienholz, whose favorite restaurant was "Big Window." Experience the magnificent taste of authentic Armenian cuisine with us – let yourself be enchanted.
