Feliks Harutyunyan was born in 1996 in Yerevan into a family of musicians and started to play violin at the age of 5. Already at 14, he was a member of “Sharakan” Sacred Music Ensemble, with whom he recorded a CD and performed concerts in Armenia and abroad. Feliks studied in Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan with prof. Alexander Kosemyan and in 2017 completed the bachelor’s degree with honors. In 2019 Feliks completed the bachelor’s degree with honors and in 2021 the master’s degree with honors at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (class of prof. Dominika Falger). As soloist Feliks collaborated with Armenian National Chamber Orchestra and Artsakh State Chamber Orchestra. In 2020 Feliks made his debut with Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra, performing Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante with Andrei Gridchuk. In 2021 Feliks performed Bartok’s 2nd Violin Concerto with the Symphony Orchestra of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. Since 2022 Feliks is a member of Volksoper Wien Orchestra.
