Khachkarart

The cross is distinguished in world culture as a mere mirror phenomenon. It contains the basic Christian concept of the redemption of Jesus Christ. Beginning in the fourth and fifth centuries C.E., the Crucifixion has been erected separately as a monument, or embedded in the church's wheat as an architectural ornament. It reminds us of the way of Christ, which overcame death and showed that there is still life after death, and that life is eternal.
