Madeline Sharafian is an American film director, writer, and storyboard artist known for her work at Pixar, notably directing the Oscar-nominated short film Burrow (2020) and the feature film Elio (2025), making her the first Armenian Pixar feature film director. A graduate of CalArts, she also worked on We Bare Bears and served as a story artist on Coco, Onward, and Turning Red
