Maral Ayvaz

Maral Ayvaz is a known musician and performer of Armenian descent, born in Istanbul. She began her musical career at a young age by joining a church choir. Over time, she performed in numerous concerts with solo performances featuring Armenian lyrics. She also performed Armenian songs on two separate ethnic albums. In 2019, she released her first solo album with Armenian lyrics, "Marali Bes" (Like a Maral), directed by Ari Hergel, on the Kalan Müzik label. After that, she gave many concerts in Istanbul. With a sincere desire to bring the melodies created and bequeathed by the Armenians, the ancient people of Anatolia, to the wider public through various projects, the artist continues her musical work and productions, and is also an active member of the Lusavorich Choir.
