Kyurkchyan Publishing House

The National Center of Folk Music and Dance was established on December 14, 2022, in Yerevan. The main and important goal of the organization's activities is to implement joint cultural activities in the fields of folk music and dance, in particular, the preservation and development of performing arts traditions, the formation and satisfaction of the spiritual needs of society, the provision of high-value artistic results, internationalization, raising public reputation, and introducing the cultural community to Armenian folk art. The center includes the "Altunyan" State Ensemble (1938), the State Dance Ensemble of Armenia (1958), the National Instruments of Armenia (2005), the "Barekamutyun" State Ensemble (1987), the "Akunk" ethnographic ensemble (1974). Since 2022, the center has been headed by producer Armen Sargsyan.
