Sudanese Armenian Heritage Project

The Sudanese-Armenian Heritage Project, or sudanahye, is a multimedia initiative led by Vahe Boghosian to document, preserve, and share the unique history and culture of Armenians who settled in Sudan, establishing an archive of oral histories and photos to counter the community's fading legacy, especially amid Sudan's ongoing conflict. The project aims to provide an Armenian lens on Sudanese history and a Sudanese perspective on the Armenian diaspora, inspiring new art and connecting younger generations to their roots, while also offering broader insights into diaspora experiences
