Armenian Association of Women with University Education (AAWUE)

The mission of the association is: to contribute to the formation of a democratic, civil society in Armenia, to support human rights protection initiatives, ensuring equal rights and equal opportunities for women and men, to support the raising of the status of women in society, the activation of women's political and civil participation, the overcoming of gender discrimination and gender stereotypes, and to support the promotion of civil initiatives, the promotion of a "culture of peace" and the implementation of peace-loving processes. The association operates as a structure that deals with the protection of citizens' rights at the national and international levels, social lobbying, scientific and educational, informational and analytical and consulting activities.
