Aznavour Saghyan Scholarship Fund

The Aznavour Saghyan Scholarship Fund, launched by the Lorik Humanitarian Fund, supports students displaced from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) by covering educational costs like tuition, enabling them to continue their higher education despite financial and administrative hurdles, honoring Aznavour Saghyan, the late mayor of Martuni who died defending his city in 2023. It aims to build a self-sustaining endowment, ensuring future generations of Martuni youth receive educational opportunities, with his widow, Mariam Saghyan, on the selection committee to maintain its community connection
