Hayakaghak Dance Ensemble

The "Hayakaghak" ensemble was founded in 2012. Armenians from Gherla are not just a community, but a big family, as a result, dances are the expression of feelings, love, poetry. A combination of multitudes of ideas, coming from each individual dancer, that's why we don't have a choreographer. Armenian dances come from pagan times, being ritual dances. Over time, with the adoption of Christianity, all dances began to transform and take a more popular form, because each dance has its own meaning, each one has its own costume, colors and ornaments. In these dances, of course very old, something symbolic is hidden, the religious dance of the priests, or that of the warriors.
