The broadcasts began with the efforts of Aris NALCI and Linda Yalman, and evolved with the participation of Ashkhen Fixova Davtyan, Lilit Karapetyan, Carole Arissian and Suzanne Kananian. This project, created in response to the lack of an Armenian radio station in Belgium, participated in a competition organized by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation in 2020, and was selected among the 18 independent radio stations to obtain broadcasting rights in the region. In 2021, following the modernization of the DAB+ infrastructure in the Kingdom of Belgium, the BelgaHAY project began broadcasting full-time in Armenian and French. This radio, created with the aim of preserving, promoting and developing Armenian culture, continues its broadcasts today thanks to the participation of numerous volunteers. The project aims to establish a link between the Armenian community in Belgium and wider society, with the aim of promoting Armenian culture. Previous Next
