Already at 14, he was a member of “Sharakan” Sacred Music Ensemble, with whom he recorded a CD and performed concerts in Armenia and abroad. Feliks studied in Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan with prof. Alexander Kosemyan and in 2017 completed the bachelor’s degree with honors. In 2019 Feliks completed the bachelor’s degree with honors and in 2021 the master’s degree with honors at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (class of prof. Dominika Falger). As soloist Feliks collaborated with Armenian National Chamber Orchestra and Artsakh State Chamber Orchestra. In 2020 Feliks made his debut with Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra, performing Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante with Andrei Gridchuk. In 2021 Feliks performed Bartok’s 2nd Violin Concerto with the Symphony Orchestra of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. Since 2022 Feliks is a member of Volksoper Wien Orchestra. I often read about the excavations of Heinrich Schliemann, Arthur John Evans and others who have found the most durable materials - bronze, ceramics and glass. Penetrating into the thoughts, perceptions and feelings, I try to connect those three together. Each material has its own language. When you understand the language and make the material into idea, the result becomes a successful work. In my art, drawing plays a special role. If you go deeper, you will find out that the line is clearly visible in all my sculptures. The secret of getting a three-dimensional form is the energy of the line. There are three important components in my artworks – philosophy, humor and dynamic. When these components are concentrated, the artwork can defend itself by engaging in discussion and become eternal, because the work of art lives longer than the artist. Creation for me is an endless process: the more you search, the more you find, the deeper you dive, the more you get away from the earth’s crust. My scientific interest lies in the field of developmental neuroimaging. My group and me were active in introducing and applying advanced MR imaging techniques to study the connectivity and even function of the human brain. We have pioneered the field of "fetal neuroradiology" by applying these techniques in prenatal brain imaging. My personal background in neurology and neuroanatomy facilitated his studies on fetal brain structure and function. As vice president of the Austrian Society of Neuroradiology I am involved in the clinical translation of our findings. As member of the board of directors of the International Research Consortium (IRC5: https://irc5.org/) I am trying to connect neuroimaging research in the field of developmental neuroimaging with patients and their specific needs.
