Ararat Restaurant Friborg opened its doors in 1998 on the iconic Rue de Lausanne in Friborg and quickly became known for its “homemade” kebabs. Small business run by a Kurdish family. The establishment has developed over the years under the leadership of his son, Munir, passionate about the cultures of the Middle East and eager to share the richness of Anatolian cuisine. His meeting with Hussam, chef in Damascus, pushed him to explore another facet of oriental cuisine. Ararat now offers you a selection of Syrian specialties, washed down with wines from elsewhere, from Georgia to Armenia, from Turkey to Lebanon. All in a warm, family atmosphere and decor inspired by Ottoman interiors.
