About us

IPRC was established in 2011 with the objective to improve Armenia's IP policies, support the development of IP institutions and educational system, as well as capacity building and awareness raising. IPRC implemented over 50 projects and trained more than 7000 representatives of legal, academic and scientific communities, as well as creative and cultural industries. The members of IPRC Board of Trustees are recognized for their leadership, international experience, education, professionalism, as well as their personal qualities and commitment to make substantial contribution to IPRC's projects and serve its mission. IPRC's Board is composed of individuals who have demonstrated extensive and relevant leadership experience, including current or prior service as a high-level executive of a corporation or law firm, or a comparable position in the nonprofit sector or government, or extensive background in IP, including policy making, education, transactional and/or litigating experience. IPRC gives particular importance to the international experience of its Board Members, who usually hold a graduate and post graduate degrees from accredited foreign colleges or universities. The Board Members are also selected based on their personal qualities, such as high ethical standards, interpersonal skills, independence, innovativeness, communication skills and commitment.
