Nor Achough Musical Band

Nor Achough performs traditional Armenian music, including songs and melodies from historical "achoughs" like Sayat Nova and Sheram, as well as contemporary composers such as Komitas. The group aims to share and transmit this musical heritage to new audiences and younger generations. Musicians and Instruments: The ensemble features varying numbers of musicians (between 4 and 7). A prominent member is Hagop Boyadjian, who plays the doudouk (an Armenian woodwind instrument similar to an oboe). Their work involves both teaching through a music school and performing concerts.
