My Forest Armenia Andre Gumuchdjian, Founder & Executive Director 6/4 Abelyan Street 0038 Yerevan +37412202909 info@myforestarmenia.org https://myforestarmenia.org/ About us « My Forest Armenia » environmental non-governmental organization was founded in 2019 by Andre Gumuchdjian, a Belgian-Armenian philanthropist and entrepreneur. Andre feels future generations should not be burdened to clean up previous generations’ pollution. “As I got more involved in the project, I realized the crucial importance of forests for our living planet. Forests are incredibly complex ecosystems and associated with numerous aspects of life on earth. The biodiversity that it creates is essential for the human species to develop,” says Andre. We also prioritize contributing to the improvement of the socio-economic situation of the region. Thus, in all the areas we operate, we hire workers from the neighboring rural communities. All our activities become possible thanks to the generous support of our Ambassadors, partners, and donors. My Forest Armenia aims to plant 800.000 trees yearly for reforestation and afforestation purposes. We've surpassed that target in 2023 by planting more than 950,000 trees. Previous Next
